I have noticed many people asking how to use the files included in this package. So I have included instructions for each of the files. Fixing the Msvbvm60.dll Error: 1. Follow the instructions for installing the Visual Basic 6 Runtimes as well as the UnrealED fix. Installing these two fixes should clear up this specific error. Installing the UnreadED fix: 1. Run the file "unrealedfix4.exe" 2. Point the installation to the directory to which you installed Wheel of Time. 3. The install should take care of everything else. Installing the Visual Basic 6 Runtime Libraries 1. Run the file "Vbrun60.exe" 2. Everything should be taken care of automatically, (You may need to restart your computer after installation). Installing OCX/DLL files IMPORTANT: Backup the original OCX or DLL files before using these new ones. I recommend renaming the original files to *.old from *.ocx/*.dll 1. Copy the new OCX or DLL file and paste it into your "C:\Windows\System\" folder. If you backed up your original files as I recommended above, you should be done. However, if you have NOT backed up the originals yet, and you are asked if you would like to overwrite the original, chose NO and back them up before replacing them. 2. Once you have tried all of the files included in this package (OR as needed), run WoTED. If needed, restart your computer. SPECIAL NOTE: Editor.dll must be placed in your Wheel Of Time's system folder (ie "c:\WheelOfTime\system"). It will do no good to put it in your Windows system folder. Note1: If a file is use and cannot be copied, then restart Windows in safe mode and try to copy the file again. Remember to BACKUP any system files before you replace them, just in case. Note2: If you recieve an error about Msvbvm60.exe, follow the instructions above for installing the Visual Basic 6 Runtime Libraries.
